About intimacy

Rest here,

in the midst of life

exactly as it is.

It doesn’t need to be more beautiful, deeper, or more meaningful.

You don’t need to add anything,

no ceremony, no altar, no philosophy.

There is nothing you need to change

not in yourself, not in the unfolding.

Your intimate meeting with this moment

is the altar, is the ceremony,

is the philosophy come alive.

You don’t have to go anywhere.

Simply softly sink back into the Self.

Everything will effortlessly fall into place.

Life — the Self — loves you so sensually.

Can you truly feel how you are sitting here?

How skin and space explore one another?

How breath and body merge?

Just the body, before the words?

Can you give space to the ecstasy

that awakens in you when you deeply receive?

May life penetrate the openness of Being?

May it be recognized as That?

This is the ultimate lovemaking,

a gentle ecstasy,

for no reason at all.

It asks for one offer only:

the habit of moving away,

of holding on,

of giving meaning.

The idea of separation.

Are you willing?
