NON-DUAL YOGA MEDITATION

returning to the home never left

The sweetness of surrender

You are invited to join us in a poetic blend of meditative asana, gentle yogic breathwork, moments of silence, chanting, non-dual inquiry, surrendered free movement, and chanting. This practice is inspired by the rich traditions of advaita (non-duality), bhakti (devotion and surrender), and Kashmir yoga.

Deep listening

Deep listening is intricately woven into the vibrant tapestry of this yoga practice.

By unconditionally welcoming sensations in the body, thoughts, feelings, and images, you can start to identify them as echoes of past experiences that shape our perception of the world.

With continued practice, these filters will gradually become more translucent and clear, paving the way for a profound sense of liberation and authenticity.

By simply resting as you are, you will discover a deep fulfillment, unaffected by life's external circumstances.

Asana

Instead of forcing the body into an asana, we gracefully surrender to it. We allow the breath to flow naturally and finds it's way through the body, perceiving the body in a meditative state free from habitual labels and attempts to comprehend. Through precise observation, we realize that ultimately, there is no 'I' practicing yoga.

Breath

With gentle breathing, we liberate the 'breather', allowing breath to return to its natural flow.

We rest in the profound stillness between breaths, practice gentle pranayama and breath meditation. Drawing inspiration from the body's harmonious dance with breath, we learn to allow our hearts to return to receptivity and openness too.

Chanting

Sanskrit chants lead us into silence, merging our voices with the bigger ocean of sound to dissolves the illusion of separation. The resonance of mantras draws us inward, while kirtan removes the knots in the heart.

Surrendered free movement

Soft, minimalist music invites us to surrender our bodies to their natural movement. Here, we discover that life, in its essence, is free from a sense of doership.

Non-dual exploration

Ihe essence of non-duality permeates every aspect of this yoga practice. In workshops and retreats, you will be guided through self-inquiry and non-dual meditation. In group conversations and private coaching sessions, we explore into the profound understanding of non-duality even deeper.

Ontspannen restorative yoga

Restorative yoga

Restorative is designed to help the nervous system return to its innate state of equilibrium. During restorative yoga, you will relax in poses for 15 minutes, fully supported by blankets and cushions.

Restorative yoga serves as a nurturing practice for the body during times of stress, when you feel overwhelmed, fatigued, after experiencing mild trauma, or while dealing with illness.

Regular practice of restorative yoga helps reinvigorate the parasympathetic nervous system and diminishes the production of stress hormones

Inspiration

I am conditioned, as well as unconditioned.
I am neither infinite nor confined within limits.
I am both at the same time.
My will would be irresistible if I expressed it.
My being has existed before there was any creation, duration or dissolution of the world.
If you say I am conditioned, then you confine me within a limit;
again, if you say I am limitless, even then you are restricting me.”
